“Jamie is amazing. He’s the best coach I’ve seen and the leadership program he’s created is fantastic. It made a huge difference for me. In fact I have developed more as a leader in the first 3 months of his program than I had in my entire career to date.” “Overall, Jamie’s helped me engage in my position and build stronger, more effective relationships with my entire team including direct reports, peers and managers. It’s made me a better leader for the company.” More> Laura Eckhardt, C.A.
"Jamie’s changed my life! Our work together demonstrated that I have far more capability to change my situation than I ever thought possible…I’ve become a catalyst that’s changed both the strategic direction of the company and the attitudes of those around me.” “I now have a stronger sense of my own capability to lead and impact the people around me. You helped me remember the real reasons I’m doing this venture..." More> Conal Campbell
“You challenged me to get to the real issues, which I didn’t quite see at first, so I could address them directly. As a result, our work has opened up more possibilities that I wouldn’t have thought possible a year ago. I know I can offer more as a leader now, I’m stronger.” “I found you completely straight-up and real. You’re not “text-booky” either. You were able to translate concepts and help me apply them to real, live situations and it’s really paid off.” More> Cindy Winer |
The Accelerated Leader Program™ (ALP)Why this program? The purpose of ALP is to provide you with a worry-free, end-to-end solution to accelerate the development of your promising people quickly and easily. The attitudes, perspectives and skills they master in the program will chop years off their development cycle. They will be positioned to effectively take on more responsibility and increase their impact. Your performance goals for the employee will become a tangible reality.Outcomes you can expect from the participantPROACTIVELY shaping the future – Driving change “from below” and not relying on direction or instruction from supervisors. Thinking bigger, beyond their own department and the day-to-day. Creating compelling ideas for the future and taking ownership for making them happen. Results orientation and increased appetite for innovation – Becoming focused more on the results they create and less on how good they look. This frees them from the constraints of past solutions and increases the comfort level for trying new approaches and ideas. Impacting, influencing and empowering others – Successfully communicating ideas and direction; creating not only mental, but emotional buy-in and commitment from those involved. They foster an environment of trust and respect both within the team and elsewhere that breeds open, honest, and productive communication. Entrepreneurial thinking and alliance building – Becoming highly client-oriented and looking for opportunities to generate and drive value for both internal and external customers; building win-win relationships that support the goals of the business. Maximizing personal capacity – Understanding and using technology as an ally to stay on top of commitments, communication and projects. They work with velocity by leveraging others, becoming highly organized and decisive. Structure of the ProgramThe Accelerated Leader Program™ (ALP) is divided into three phases:
1. Assessment and Objectives Phase – Design Conversations I will begin by outlining the desired results of the program with you and the participant individually. In addition, I’ll also introduce the process that links the employee’s development with tangible business outcomes. The three of us will then co-create a shared set of objectives that is a win for all parties. The employee will participate in my Leadership Profiling System™. The assessments I use here allow me to quickly understand the participant and help us get to the implementation phase much faster. There are over 50 pages of practical information in the reports. I will also review existing internal 3600 feedback instruments (if available). We will also design your role as sponsor in the engagement. 2. Springboard Phase - Experiential LearningThe participant will then attend the two-day offsite Leadership Dynamics™ program. This piece is specifically included to fill the employee’s “toolbox” with practical tools that can be used immediately. This approach is more efficient (and far cheaper) than me spending excessive 1:1 time “teaching.” This program is delivered by my partner company, Constellation Learning. 3. Implementation Phase - CoachingHere, the participant and I will start implementing the plan to meet the objectives in a 1:1 format. Typically we will speak three times per month via phone for approximately 45 minutes. E-mail assistance and check-in calls are also available. The objective is to support the individual and provide additional just-in-time learning as required. There will also be opportunities for the sponsor to “check-in” with the process during this phase as designed in our initial objective meeting. This will help, in part, steer the way and scope the engagement. Who’s the best fit for a program like this? You might be wondering who might be an ideal candidate for a program like this.
